Rowena worked with the Fort Kent Lions club with their local phone book project. She secured competitive bids for printing and delivery, assembled all the ads, designed new ads, and all within a tight schedule. We have had Row on four of these Phonebook projects — and every edition continues to show her unique ability to really present a great book for our area. On a personal note — I was the chairman for the project — Rowena was the most pleasant, professional, artistic, & hard worker that I have had the pleasure to work with.

Having been in the granite countertop business for about ten years, after a recent buying trip to Brazil I came up with the idea to start another company that would broker container loads of granite slabs to buyers. So for this venture, I knew I would need some professional-looking marketing materials. Since my excitement level was high, I wanted them yesterday. But I’m not the most creative person in the world, so I didn’t really even know what I wanted. I had a brief conversation with Rowena and gave her the basics, and she took it from there. Within no time she had designed my logo, worked with my website designer, and ordered my new business cards. As I recall the turn around time wasn’t much more than a week. Last week I took my first order for 17 containers. Since then I’ve taken orders for 2 more and the inquiries keep coming. Thanks a lot, Rowena! I couldn’t have done this without you!

I hired Rowena to create a new logo for my website. My graphics skills are seriously lacking, so I needed someone who could do everything from the concept sketches, to the finished product. I also wasn’t 100% sure of the look I wanted for my logo. Row was great. She asked some questions to get a feel for what I was looking for. I gave her a few logos from other companies that I liked. She then produced several mock-ups for me to choose from. I picked features from each logo that I liked, and sent those back to her. We continued this cycle until I was satisfied with my logo. The entire process did not take long, and Rowena was very quick on the turnaround. I’m definitely hiring her for some future work!
